7 Years

There is no usual From The Heart Sunday feature today. Today is my 7th wedding anniversary, and I’m going to spend the day with my husband, children and parents enjoying the beautiful sunshine, outdoors, family and love.

To my husband Philip – our past 7 years together have been most life affirming and life changing years I have known. I’m the one that will be praised for being an entrepreneur, or balancing motherhood with business and family and making it all work, when the truth is I couldn’t get through a day of it without your love and support. This business, the blog, Love My Dress – none of it would exist without your love, patience, guidance and enabling of me to follow a dream and create I life and career I truly adore. I am thankful for this in ways I can’t even truly articulate.

I treasure the memories of this day back in March 2009 like they were the world’s most precious jewels – how lucky we are to be able to reflect back on such a love and joy filled experience – moments of pleasure flashing through my mind like a beautiful movie playing out in my head.

There isn’t a day since that I’ve taken our love and marriage for granted – and I promise that there won’t be a day from hereon where I do, even if sometimes I don’s show or tell you enough how grateful I am to you for everything. Life is never plain sailing – but being married to you makes me feel invincible. There’s a solid foundation of pure, pure love that I know is all I need to get me, us, through anything – no matter what.

For better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

Happy 7 years my darling and love of my life,

Annabel x
