Hello lovely ones – we’re not done yet with Thursday, we still have some more inspiring content to share with you. But before we do, have you seen our fabulous new Style Files? Or the wedding full to the brim with floral charm that we shared this morning, but then it would be, when the bride is none other than our Little Book For Brides member, the wonderful Joanne Truby Floral Design. Bride + wedding florist = floral magic!
This lovely set of images I’m sharing this afternoon came by way of photographer Claire, of Bardot Weddings. Claire teamed up with a number of suppliers we know and love to create these dreamy set of Bardot inspired images that feature a mix of vintage and modern bridal fashion, that I knew right away you would love.

The creative team wanted to bring to life a sense of modern vintage meets fine art and romantic and I think they’ve struck the balance just right. From that effortlessly gathered 60’s inspired up do to the pretty pale lips and winged eye liner, the bell sleeves of that incredible vintage gown above and the bare foot bride running through the fields – I’m hoping these images have something to offer and inspire our free spirited readers looking for something bohemian in style.
Claire Macintyre at Bardot Weddings says “I wanted to create a dreamy styled shoot that would show brides that choosing a vintage style can be modern, stylish and work wonderfully with a fine art delicate feel.”
I love the hair style below inspired by the classis chignon style of the 60’s, and very expertly coiffed by wedding hair and makeup expert, Pin Ups Bridal Hair.
“Our gorgeous model encompasses the fragile but sexy look of French style icon Brigitte Bardot, who we feel makes a fabulous bohemian bride!”
The shoot features both original vintage and vintage inspired dresses from wedding dress suppliers, Katya Katya Shehurina, Hope & Harlequin and Rock The Frock as well as original vintage gowns by Unique Bride.
I adore this off-the-shoulder 70’s inspired design by Katya Katya Shehurina – a brand we’ve championed ever since I discovered them back in 2012. You can see more from Katya Katya Shehurina here on Love My Dress.
As usual I simply hope that these images offer a touch of inspiration to all of you planning a wedding. Pin away to your hearts content lovely ladies, and gentlemen!
My love and thanks to the entire team listed below, but special thanks to photographer Claire of Bardot Weddings.
Love Annabel x

I just adore your wedding pictures, so many wonderful styles! I am getting married next year, and as I work for an events promotion company in London, I am often invited to great wedding shows / events, where I get much inspiration, but I still can’t manage to decide what I should wear. You definitely have helped me in getting closer to what style of dress I should be aiming for.
