Good afternoon lovely ones – thank you so much for dropping by our beloved wedding blog this Thursday lunch time. Have you had a moment to enjoy our recent real wedding features?
There are few words to share in this afternoon’s feature, largely because these beautiful images speak for themselves. This submission arrived via British bridal boutique Jean Jackson Couture, who had collaborated with photographer Beth Alderson. The creative team wanted to create a set of images inspired by photographer Paulo Roversi’s 1990’s Vogue shoot with supermodels Amber Valetta and Shalom Harlow
Using modern bridal fashion from NYC based Houghton and Parisian label Rue de Seine – collections both available from Jean Jackson Couture, the resulting images beautifully showcase the sensuous and seductive nature of these two fashion forward brands, both of which should be explored by the modern bride keen to make a more cool and fashionable statement on her wedding day. I hope you adore these gorgeous images as much as I do.
“I am a wedding/fashion photographer based in England, I wanted to share a recent styled shoot with you by myself and a full team based in Manchester, UK. Our shoot was inspired by Paulo Roversi’s 90’s vogue shoot with Amber Valetta and Shalom Harlow. With all members of the team having a strong background in both the Bridal and Fashion industries, we wanted to blur the lines between the two and create something fresh.”“We were also inspired by the clean lines, design and pure silks used by bridal wear designers Houghton And Rue de Seine. The mix of these elements has enabled us to give a contemporary modern twist for today’s fashion forward cool bride.”
Huge love and thanks to the talented creative team credited below for asking us to share these sensational, sensuous images.
