L.K.Bennett, the iconic feminine footwear brand, has announced a bridal shoe and clutch collaboration with the incomparable Jenny Packham and we’re just about as smitten as it’s possible to be. Dear readers, this is truly special so join me for a peek at perfection…
Jenny Packham is truly one of our favourite bridal labels. Over the last year, I’ve had the huge pleasure of writing quite a few features about Jenny Packham wedding gowns and every time I’ve done so, I’ve found something new to love and something else to admire. Jenny’s dresses are just exquisite. They’re beautiful, contemporary and utterly desirable. As I said back in October ‘it’s actually a bit of an understatement when I say that all of us here at Love My Dress have got quite the crush on Jenny Packham. In fact, we’re way past that stage and are, I feel sure, into full adoration of Jenny.’
So imagine my excitement when I found out that another of my favourite brands, L.K.Bennett, was announcing their first-ever bridal shoe and clutch collaboration with Jenny. I admit, I might have squealed a little bit but as you read on, you’ll understand why.
Inspired by the leading ladies of the golden age of cinema, this groundbreaking collection blends the mesmerising glamour of Hollywood icons with the dreamy vintage style of 1930s Paris. L.K.Bennett is well known for creating versatile, beautiful footwear and this collection stays true to that signature style. Offering gorgeous designs, a sense of luxury and options for every wedding style, L.K.Bennett is sure to become a new bridal favourite.
“There’s a strong synergy between the L.K.Bennett woman and the Jenny Packham bride so it seemed natural and very exciting for me to collaborate with their design team,” explains Jenny. “A project of passion, the combination of the Jenny Packham aesthetic with the renowned design heritage and quality has resulted in a beautiful collection of shoes and bags of which I’m very proud.”
The collection includes 16 styles of footwear and 4 styles of clutch bag and will take you from ceremony to celebration. The range offers a variety of heels heights from 100mm to 50mm and flat options and the styles, ooooh, the styles!
There’s the ‘Dahlia’ high sandal with drop crystals that just reminds me so much of glittering Art Deco jewels whilst the ‘Felicity’ high sandal with glittered star detail (swoon!) and the ‘Fern’ satin court, embellished with delicate jewels and pearls, both offer an air of vintage that works so well for the fashion-forward bride.
If you’re a modern romantic, the ethereal ‘Scarlet’ heel and the ‘Cari’ flat, adorned with organza peonies are standout styles. I’m also crushing on the ‘Parris’ block heel with its grosgrain bow. For a more alternative look, the bohemian ‘Dorothy’ heel and the ‘Deedee’ flat sandal could be your wedding day must-haves.
To finish, the collection also offers matching bag styles in an array of fabrics including lace or super shimmering box clutches. The ‘Brigitte’ vintage inspired embellished satin pouch and the ‘Sissi’ grosgrain structure clutch with pearl edging are just perfect to carry all your wedding day essentials in style.
