Agapé Bridal Cheshire Wedding Dress Boutique – The Luxurious + Opulent Chandelier Collection for Brides

Whatever has happened in the last few days, today, we’re most definitely in a celebratory mood as the wonderful Agapé Bridal Boutique in Cheshire launch their own fabulous new bridal collection and a new website.

I found out more from Karen, the inspirational owner of Agapé Bridal. Firstly, let me tell you a little more about Agapé Bridal Boutique.

You’ll find this beautiful boutique in the Cheshire town of Altrincham and the moment you step inside, you’ll see why brides visit from all over the north-west and beyond. The boutique itself is just a delight and oozes style and tranquillity whilst the team you’ll work with are absolute experts in the world of bridal. In fact, everything about Agapé is just a joy.

The boutique is home to everything you could need with bridal gowns from the likes of Jenny Packham, Caroline Castigliano, Temperley, Stephanie Allin, Watters and Karen Willis Holmes. There’s also a stunning range of bridesmaid gowns, including the seriously brilliant Agapé Atelier designs and there’s even accessories plus outfits for Mothers of the Bride and Groom.

Agapé has always been passionate about bridal design and since they were established in 2004, the team have been designing and making bespoke wedding dresses and one-off gowns for brides who couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for on the rails. However, Karen has now taken things one step further with the launch of the Agapé Atelier bridal collection:

‘Fourteen years after we opened the doors to Agapé Bridal, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first in-house collection, designed and created within the boutique by our team of talented designers. It showcases just what’s possible and any bride who wishes to explore the bespoke route can now try on examples of our work and develop their own ideas with our help.”

And straight away, I’m sold. Not only are the dresses themselves an absolute triumph but how utterly amazing would it be to be able to work with the bridal experts at Agapé to create something that’s yours and yours alone? I’m also in love with the look of the gowns and the use of fabrics is just exquisite.

“Working on the collection has been so exciting – we’ve experimented with new techniques as well as developing fabrics, beadings and more to create unusual silhouettes. The chandelier, with its droplets, transparency and opulence, has been at the heart of our creativity. Draping fabrics, beads and lace to mirror the shapes of chandeliers has given each dress a real ‘centrepiece’ feel and exudes luxury.”

“I have to say that my favourite dress in the collection is Kew. It’s simply cut to accentuate the figure with intricate details giving it a real touch of luxury and sophistication. I also love the way that it can be dressed up with the overlay or belt, or both.”

Personally, I’m in love with the use of those overlays. They’re so flattering and super romantic and Karen has chosen the most adorable laces and details for these. There’s also a gorgeous vintage aesthetic that’s also matched with contemporary styling details – those bows, those necklines and the skirt shapes are all superb.

“Brides who are looking for something feminine, sophisticated and with a touch of detail will love our new collection and the gowns are available now to try on at our boutique. Whenever you shop for your wedding dress, I’d urge you not to try on too many gowns because you can definitely overcrowd your mind.
