These images were sent in by Nottinghamshire based Frances Day Bridal founder and owner, Julia Kellam.

These beautiful images allow you a sneaky peak inside this gorgeously styled space and haven for brides to be, which houses some of the finest bridal gowns available in the East Midlands, and indeed, entire UK. As is evident too, its owner knows how to produce a most beautifully inspiring set of images. Over to you Julia…

“In the early part of the year I always like to put an informal yet inspirational shoot on within the surroundings of Frances Day Bridal. A chance to pull together some of the leading exclusive industry professionals in the region and push the boundaries of bridal style.”

“The vibe for this shoot started out when I set eyes on the most incredible piece of Balinese carved wooden wall art – which happened to be GIANT! This provided the perfect backdrop for the clean and crisp lines that our designers supply us with at Frances Day Bridal.”

“We always love to be somewhat directional within our floral installations at Frances Day, and following a brain storming session, (think Met Gala chic crossed with dewey country gal gone roaming) Debbie pulled off what in my mind looks nothing short of pure floral artistry.”

“A look that would not be out of place on Bond Street in London but instead nestled in our fiercely independent little high street of Southwell in Nottinghamshire.”

“The gowns selected to feature in this shoot all represent a different take on pure craftsmanship. From the Suzanne Neville gown which has had every beugal bead and 3D flower painstakingly hand sewn onto the tulle skirt to the freehand embroidered graphic lace Jesus Peiro number – we are so proud to represent leading aspirational designers within the industry.”

“The bridal styling was kept paired back on both hair and make up letting the gowns effortlessly cut through the scene that had been set.””

And finally Anna from Pear & Bear Photography captured all of what had been created with the softness light & playing with organic shadowing that was being created on a glorious freak February heat wave day.”
