Autumn Wedding Flowers and Floral Wedding Decor Ideas, by Vervain Flowers

Autumn wedding flowers

And just like that,  Summer feels like a memory. I’ve always considered 1st September the start of Autumn – I know it’s not the official start, but that Autumnal vibe is entirely unavoidable by the time the children return to school.

I’ll truly miss the summer this year, but Autumn, I just adore. Especially the flowers that bloom at this time of year (I can’t wait to see what delights Moonwind has for us this season). This exquisite set of images includes flowers styled by one of my absolute favourite, most talented florists, India of Vervain Flowers.  If you’re not sure where to start with Autumn wedding flowers, you need look no further. Enjoy, lovely ones…

Field Farm is set within the Teme Valley in the Worcestershire countryside, offering the unique opportunity to hire a rustic timber-framed barn and a beautiful naturalistic perennial garden complete with a covered outdoor space and a dutch barn structure adorned with rambling roses and other climbing plants.”

“Field Farm is perfect for small intimate ceremonies, private dining experiences, workshops and as a filming location. Through late Spring to late Summer, the garden is filled with an abundance of interest and life creating the perfect setting for people looking for something special.”

“The inspiration for the shoot was the beauty of the garden and the natural rural setting of the farm. I wanted to create floral pieces that reflected the colours and transitional feel of the space throughout the seasons.”

“Using the abundance of flowers from my growing areas and the garden itself, I chose colour palettes that emulated the shades seen in the garden from June to September when the shoot was held. The all-white bouquet was based on the explosion of blooms, the trailing roses and Russian vine produced in early summer, surrounding the garden in a sea of white flowers and petals.”

“The vibrant yellow tablescape piled high with fruits and flowers celebrates the abundance of flowers and foliage in the garden in high summer, drawing on the vivid colours and textures it shares”

Then the final looks with the muted pink bridal bouquet and the installation piece were inspired by the changing colours of autumn in the garden and the surrounding farmlands, with forged branches of pink-tinged elder, delicate bronze tipped vines and the dusky hues of garden roses all having one last abundant flurry before the garden dies back in winter.”
