As you probably know by now, we LOVE to support brilliant hard working, creative businesses, who have a keen eye for style, detail and exquisite bridal fashion.
Archive 12, a gorgeous bohemian bridal boutique based in Belfast, is one of them. And I couldn’t reply quick enough when they asked if we could share these Christmas images on their behalf. Let’s enjoy these gorgeous festive photographs – words come from Claire, owner of Archive 12.
“The idea behind this shoot was around creating three Christmas themes that were all very different and showed different styling concepts but that would also work well together as an overall look.”

Christmas Past
“Dark, moody pioneer style vibes with a dried wreath and a hint of rich berry tones. Featuring the black fringed dress from Shikoba bride for Emily and a dark laid back look for Danny. Sass and Halo created a red berry crown to bring in the colour pop, and the table styling was quite sparse and paired back. Emily’s hair is pinned back with a centre parting for a more traditional look, and her makeup is very minimal and matte with a heavy brow.”
Christmas present
“I wanted this look to be rich and abundant with a sumptuous grazing table and lots of traditional orange and red colours coming through in the food and the florals. Emily is layered in different patterned laces, while Danny wears a printed velvet tux to add extra levels of texture and detail.”
“We went for a braided relaxed up-do to again add texture and detail with a bold red lip.”
Christmas Future
“Think Scandi, modern desert vibes ( Christmas in Joshua tree!) with a geometric pine backdrop, disco metallics and perspex details on the table. The colours are light and bright, with dried palms and a sculptural style crown. I love the mix of the disco ball with the dried leaves and the BON BRIDE gown really gives it a high fashion conceptual look.”
“The make-up has more highlighter and shine, with metallics on the eye to give it a more disco look, but still a very natural style.”
“It was definitely a challenge to create three such different themes that also work well together but I think we pulled it off! The team were unreal and totally understood my vision for the day.”
