I’m super excited to be with you today to introduce you to Mapiful, an altogether fantastic website that allows you to create your own unique art, featuring the places in the world that are most special to you.
Whether you’d like something to commemorate the spot where you got engaged or where you’ll take your wedding vows, Mapiful’s map-themed posters make a gorgeous gift or even a stylish alternative to a traditional wedding guest book.
So, what’s to love about Mapiful? Well, having ordered and received my own poster, I can tell you straight away that the whole process is really easy and also really enjoyable. Start with the Mapiful editor and just enter the place that you want to focus on and the oh-so clever editor will generate a map for you. Ta-dah! It’s that simple!

From that starting point, you can play around to customise your map so I zoomed in and out and was able to get our home, our favourite place and our wedding location all in one map!

I could change the colour and style of the map and alter the text on the labels until I was totally happy and then all you have to do is head to the checkout.
It really is that simple and it was a huge amount of fun to make – I have to admit that I tried out lots of other locations too and they all looked absolutely great.

Mapiful describes the maps as “a sleek meet between trendy Scandinavian décor and a design that’s 100% you” and I have to say that that’s a great description. The maps have a really clean look and stick to simple lines and outlines rather than giving too much detail that distracts from the look and feel of the finished product.
The focus is definitely on the place and that’s really good to see because, let’s face it, it’s the place that’s important here.

My Mapiful is now hanging on the wall and it’s received a lot of love from visitors and, wonderfully, it’s also started a lot of conversations. Over dinners with friends, it’s been the starting point for lots of “oh, do you remember at your wedding…” chats that have been absolutely brilliant. Places really do spark the most special of memories.
