For brides who find themselves drawn to wedding dresses with character, history and the unmistakable presence of the hand that made them, this Ibiza bridal fashion editorial offers a closer look at what bespoke design can become.
Photographed at Puig de Missa in Santa Eulària by Love My Dress recommended supplier Clarissa Sofía Studio, with video and film stills provided by Maddi Jean Waterhouse, the story centres on Sylvie, a one-of-a-kind bridal gown created by Julita London as part of her Dear. series. It is a dress made for brides who want to begin with an idea, a fabric or an instinct and work directly with a designer to create something entirely their own.

Clarissa photographed model Suzana on 35mm and medium format film, preserving the texture of the antique lace, crochet trims and intricate handwork that make Sylvie so distinctive. The setting, one of Ibiza’s historic hilltop churches, brings the dress into a space shaped by age, craft and generations of human hands without allowing the architecture to overpower it.
Below, Julita shares the story that led to Sylvie and explains the wider Dear. series while Clarissa and Maddi introduce the artistic work they bring to wedding photography and film.
