- Jessica Turner Designs

Jessica Turner is an ethical bridal fashion designer, based in Buckinghamshire & Wiltshire.
She artfully creates gowns and separates for the untamed beauty, where raw silk yarns, embellished knits and embroidery florals, dip dye flowing skirts, statement sleeves are at the heart of Jessica Turner Designs. Romantic, elegant with a bohemian feel for the untraditional brides.
All her designs are now shown with illustrations and fabric swatches to support Jessica’s bridal collections, with one or two dresses made for samples. She prides in making one quality dress from her bridal collection to minimise the impact of production and fabric usage which she believes is important in this Eco-Age. With Jessica’s bridal styling advice and her natural eye for design, brides are ensured that that their vision is bought to life. Her pretty fabric swatches have carefully been put together by Jessica, where she will discuss fabrics properties, the different textures and how they fit around the body. She will talk about her custom made embroidery or dip dyed services on offer too which truly personalises each gown.
Brides are also given the opportunity to choose ethical fabrics when designing their wedding dress; including lustrous bamboo, peace silk, and organic fibres with the GOTS trademark. Jessica also likes to use up any left-over pieces of fabric, and use it for her handmade ‘Bride Bunny,’ who will wear a replica of a bride’s dress. A lovely gift idea to her brides.
The experience when meeting up with Jessica is extremely welcoming and very personal. She will put all her effort and design skill into a bride’s dream dress and ensure that each one will be strikingly unique.
Jessica’s designs are made by a small production company in the UK.
How much does a bespoke dress cost?
The bespoke dress can vary in price depending on the style, the fabric choice and how much detail/embellishment is needed. Jessica's prices vary from £1,500 to £2,500 and on average her dresses are about £,1800. Jessica is able to work within a brides budget, and she will suggest ideas, and fabrics that she can work with that will create a very similar look.
How much time is needed to have the dress made from start to finish?
Jessica likes to have at least 6 months to work on a wedding dress. Anything, under that time frame she charges extra.
