Weddings at Broadfield
Broadfield is an exclusive use venue which can be hired for two nights or more to host your celebrations. And at Broadfield, your wedding is completely your own. You choose your style, your numbers, your suppliers, your food, your drink and your locations, and we help you every step of the way to make your celebrations perfect. We like to think we provide the flexibility of a DIY wedding but with all the planning and support of an exclusive venue.
Couples looking for an idyllic place to marry have several options. We absolutely love outdoor ceremonies and couples can choose from so many locations – our woodland, our rose garden, our fold yard, our orchard and our huge lawns, with capacity up to 170. To guard against the weather, couples can opt for a canopy. Indoors we can host up to 60 guests for a ceremony – our drawing room has a full length bay window with views out onto the David Austin rose garden; our inner hall is framed by a huge, elegant stone fireplace – both will make incredible back drops for your big day.
For your wedding breakfast and evening reception, weddings of 50 or less can dine in the wood panelled dining room and celebrate afterwards in the bar. For over that number, a tipi, marquee or yurt in the grounds is a wonderful option to make the absolute most of the stunning grounds. You can choose whichever caterer you wish, allowing real flexibility, whether you prefer fine dining, street food or anything in between. While couples can choose whoever they wish, we can help with fabulous recommendations.
And at the end of the night, where better to retire to than one of our nine beautiful bedrooms. All individually designed with comfy beds and luxury bathrooms, your loved ones can stay with you for two nights or more to really make the most of your wedding celebrations. With exclusive hire, the house, gardens and grounds are completely yours – your very own country estate for the duration of your stay. And you have the freedom to self cater or to be catered for, whatever works best for you. We also have our lovely three bedroomed coach house available to book by the couple or by their family or friends.
Working alongside wonderful local suppliers, we can help you find everything to make your day perfect, from flowers to photographers to hair and make up. No request is too much for our dedicated, family run team.

When we started looking for our wedding venue we knew exactly what we wanted but it wasn't easy to find. We were after somewhere we could make our own for the whole weekend, somewhere our close friends and family could stay with us, somewhere that would allow us to do our wedding our way. When we found Broadfield Court we both fell in love. The house and gardens are beautiful and it's in a stunning location. It's family owned and I think it really shows - right from the start it was clear that Fran puts so much effort into each and every wedding she helps to plan. She was friendly, welcoming, and amenable to all our ideas for our big day, offering suggestions for suppliers and going the extra mile to ensure our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be - nothing was too much trouble. The wonderful thing about Broadfield is that it's a blank canvas (and a very beautiful one at that!). We were able to choose all our own suppliers and decide how we would like the weekend to go. For us this meant a relaxed pizza night with our friends on Friday, a woodland ceremony followed by lawn games and a drinks reception in the rose garden on Saturday afternoon, a band and dancing in our tipi until late, a fire drawing and sparklers in the fold yard, and a recovery BBQ on the lawn on Sunday. Fran, Alex, and the rest of the Broadfield team were amazing. Everything went so smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. Many of our friends commented that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and we would certainly agree! I hope that Broadfield will feature in our anniversary/birthday/Christmas plans in years to come as it's a very special place and somewhere I would love to return to again and again.

The first time we visited Broadfield we were won over by its warm atmosphere and stylish finish. The venue is incredible and manages to feel both like a home and stunning event space at the same time. You're able to have the location configured in so many ways for your wedding and Frances, Alex and the team make planning and finding the best use for the space a breeze. Being able to stay at the venue across the weekend with our friends and family gave what is already an amazing location an extra special element which we loved It was a pleasure to work with Frances, who was incredibly organised, flexible and open to different ways we could use the venue. This made the planning process so much smoother, with everything being thought of to the finest detail. The day itself was lovely and couldn't have gone better, leaving some great memories for us and all our guests. We want to say a massive thank you to Frances, Alex and the team for their amazing venue and for their help pulling together a seamless wedding for us. They are a lovely team and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who are looking for that extra special location with an awesome set of people behind it!

We celebrated our wedding in August 2023 at Broadfield Court and it was the most perfect day we could have dreamed of! My husband is a wedding photographer and after all the beautiful wedding venues he wanted to show me this venue first. When we saw it, we fell in love with it immediately and we didn’t need to look any further! The venue itself felt like home and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the building and the grounds were. Helen and the team took care of us as if we were one of their own. They were professional, kind and courteous from start to finish. We honestly cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough! I cannot begin to explain how wonderful our time at Broadfield was! From our first viewing we fell in love - it is so many venues all in one with the stunning house, romantic woodland, rustic barn, party bar, colourful gardens and much more. Having the house for the full weekend made our wedding so much more relaxed. We were able to set everything up exactly as we wanted and enjoy the space afterwards with our closest friends for pizza and fire pit. Fran, Alex and their team were incredible from the first conversation, making everything bespoke for us to ensure we felt calm and supported throughout. Best venue ever! :)

We got married at the beautiful Broadfield in May 2023 and it was truly the most wonderful wedding! Broadfield was the first venue we visited and the search for the perfect wedding venue was over. We instantly fell in love with the charming interior, and breathtaking grounds. The wedding planning process was extremely smooth and stress free, Fran was very attentive, and talked us through our multiple options on how our wedding day could pan out. You can really tailor your wedding day to your unique style. We chose to have a woodland ceremony, drinks reception in the rose garden, and hired two tipis for the lawn which created a perfect space for dining & dancing, enjoying garden games and trips to the Broadfield bar for refreshments! The day ran like clockwork and the Broadfield team were always on hand if we needed anything. Our guests were as much in awe of the venue as we were, and we received so many comments on how beautiful our wedding was. We stayed at Broadfield from Friday to Sunday which elongated our wedding to a whole weekend. We loved the fact we had accommodation for all of our immediate family and also our spaniels! I have uploaded some photos of our perfect day to show Broadfield off!

We are so so happy to have had our gorgeous summers wedding day at Broadfield. The house we stayed in for the wedding was stunning - amazing features, luxurious and very clean. The Broadfield grounds we used for our wedding day were incredible, we got married in the woodland and danced outside at night overlooking the beautiful views - it was just a dream! The photo opportunities are also amazing there including the sun setting over the driveway. The Broadfield team itself are so approachable, efficient and lovely. They make it very personal - it felt so different to so many of the 'wedding factory' type venues we looked around before. We felt in safe hands both leading up to our wedding and on the big day itself. Special shout out to Helen for her incredible detail and kindness! Thank you all so so much.
