Morning folks, and welcome to the weekend ;) This Saturday morning, I'm dedicating my blog to one of my favourite UK photographers, James Melia.
James popped up on to my radar almost a year ago now, with his beautiful, distinctive style of photography and I've been an avid fan of his work ever since. I've keenly watched James' style develop over the past few months into the beautiful signature that now makes his work so instantly recognisable.

"Photography has always been present in my life in some shape or form. It seems to have evolved into wedding photography gradually. I’ve always loved working with people in front of the lens, but there is definitely something very unique about every couple and the feelings captured on a wedding day.
Being able to frame a moment for a couple to look back on from their wedding day is amazing. The emotion, the little moments that flit by, and the individual characters all work to form a beautiful story.
My approach to my work and the way I shoot is relaxed and flexible. I like people to feel at ease while I’m taking pictures . I love capturing individuals in their own space, for them to truly feel like themselves…"
