Laura and Ben married on 20th September 2025 at Chateau Cazenac in the Dordogne, a region they know well from years of holidays together.
France was a deliberate choice, and so was the intimacy of their beautiful and romantic day: a close gathering of friends and family, seasonal flowers in soft autumn tones, and a celebration built around feasting and being together. Chateau Cazenac was the first venue they viewed and the only one they needed to see.
Laura wore the Clementine gown from Indie Bride London, created by talented Love My Dress recommended designer Miina. It was the last dress she tried on during her visit to this lovely and welcoming boutique and though the design was still in construction and not actually finished at the time, she knew in that moment it was the one.
Her hair was dressed with simple pearl pins by her best friend and talented hair stylist, Aimèe-Blu, and she wore pretty pearls loaned by Ben’s mother alongside a pair of pearl earrings by Kiki & Belle.
Laura was accompanied by her mother down the aisle for her outdoor ceremony in the grounds of this elegant chateau and the day was captured beautifully by the wonderful Frances Mary Sales – enjoy!

The Dress
Inde Bride London
My dress was from Indie Bride London. Designer Miina was amazing at finding and making my dress. She was the first boutique I went to and ended up being the only one as I found Clementine ( the dress I wore).

It was the last dress I tried on in the shop and Miina hadn’t finished making it yet but offered for me to try it on and im so glad she did. I loved all the dresses.

I tried on a few dresses during my visit to Indie Bride, but I didn’t feel the feeling they tell you about until I tried on the Clementine dress. When I stepped into the Clementine dress, I could really see and feel myself walking down the aisle – and the song that came on the radio was the song I ended up walking down the aisle to on my wedding day. It was such a magical moment.

I loved the dress because the material made me feel so free and comfortable, but it also looked so beautiful. Simple details but I felt elegant and timeless.
I wore a vintage veil that my sister also wore for her wedding day , it was my something borrowed. I also wore a pair of white lace heels from ASOS. They went perfectly with the whole look.

I wore simple pearl pins in my bun – Aimèe-Blu did my hair. She is my best friend very luckily! I also wore Ben’s great aunt’s pearls that his mother loaned me for the day and a pair of pearl earrings by Kiki & Belle.
My scent was Chanel Mademoiselle – a classic feminine delicate fragrance.

My bridesmaids dresses were a mix of ASOS and Six Stories. I loved the end result of different styles and colours. I bought them all a citrine crystal abundance bracelet for their gift.
Ben wore a tuxedo from a local suit shop, along with a pair of his father’s cufflinks.
Photography
Our photographer was Frances Mary Sales. Id seen a wedding by her that I adored and knew she was for us. Her photos capture light and the feeling of the moments so well. I would recommended her to anyone. She is also such a lovely person to have on the day!
Our videographer was Katy Fendall Flims – who was also lovely to have on the day.
The Reception
We put a disco ball in the orangery but other than flowers we let the beauty of the venue speak for itself.
For guest favours, we went to a local haberdashery shop that did wedding stationary and they did the cutest little favour boxes. We then just bought some chocolate to put in and made up the boxes ourselves.
I did the stationery myself with the help of Zazzle.
Floristry was provided by Lucy at Les Fleurs De La Terre – we went with seasonal flowers and colours.
Catering was provided by Lovage and Pumpernickel and our cake was a croquembouche tower, provided by a local bakery.

Evening & Dancing
We danced to Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want to Miss A Thing’ – its just a classic great song we love the lyrics and gets everybody swaying and singing.
We loved everything but the ceremony and the Party were highlights! Once we could fully relax and celebrate with everyone. I didn’t leave the dance floor all night

Words of Wedded Wisdom
Remember the day is about you so make sure you get what you want! If you have a planner, make sure your choices and ideas are heard and come to life.
Trust that it will all come together. It is the best day ever so enjoy each moment and make sure you are present once it comes to the day. Take a few moments out just you and your partner.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the small details it all falls into place on the day.
We pretty much stayed around our budget, but the spread sheet definitely went out of the window! We saved money on doing our own stationery and using digital invites. We also had minimal decor.
