Lunch Time Wedding Film ~ Georgina and Nick by Studio 1208

I love featuring films on a Friday lunch time, and I've been longing to feature the work of Studio 1208 for a good while now.  This fabulous creative husband and wife team, aka, Nick and Maria, are ridiculously cool.  When they got married, Maria wore Nick's Mum's 70's wedding dress – their wedding photographs appear in my book, Style Me Vintage: Weddings – you should *see* them.

But I digress, because it's not Nick and Maria where here to talk about, not strictly speaking, it's the lovely newlywed couple Georgina and Nick who tired the knot on 8th June this year at Elms Barn in Suffolk.

Nick and Maria of Studio 1208 were there to capture the whole beautiful day on film.  The sound track to this film is faaaaaabulous (turn it UP people)…

I caught up with Bride Georgina who shared a little about her day (I'm saving most of this for the full real wedding feature – keep your eyes peeled peeps!)…

'When Nick and I met, I lived in Sydney and he lived in Geneva, therefore as we are well
travelled everyone presumed we would marry overseas. I thought this too
but when I saw Elms Barn in Suffolk, which is very close to where I
grew up, I actually cried and knew it was the place for me to marry.  I
was also much more of a traditional bride than I ever expected!'

'My dress was from Isabella
Grace in Royal Tunbridge Wells
. I had visited a few boutiques and loved
every single dress I tried on but I was left feeling how do you know
when its the one? When I eventually tried on my Lusan Mandongus dress I
got goosebumps and did know without doubt that was my dress. It was
elegant and so classic and I just knew it was the one I had been
looking for.'

'I guess all we wanted for our day
was everyone to have fun and celebrate with us, we had a few of my
friends flying in from Australia which meant the world to me to have
people from all stages of our lives in one room.'

'We weren't going to have a film
made for our day but turns out that getting
Studio 1208 onboard was the
best decision that we ever made for our wedding.  I advise brides that
are in two minds where to or not to  definitely do it – sitting down
when it is all over after your wedding and watching your film is one of
the most moving things you can do.'

Fabulous fabulous stuff.  I ruddy LOVE what Nick and Maria did with that soundtrack!

Watch out for the real wedding feature coming soon.  In the meantime, I'd like to encourage you all to check out the website of Studio 1208 and enjoy all their wonderful wedding films.

Happy Friday all,
