This is the first time I’ve blogged about a Jenny Packham bride, yay! Of course you can see heaps more Jenny Packham brides on Love My Dress here, but before you delve into that archive, take a bit of time to enjoy today’s offering. Steph wore the elegant ‘Dentelle’ gown for her wedding to Greg at the Galgorm Resort and Spa in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Grace Photography captured the images from the day (and the dress!), and the couple chose Forever Social as their videographers. You can watch Steph and Greg’s gorgeous film here.
“By far our best decision regarding the wedding was booking our photographers and videographers, Grace Photography and Forever Social. I stumbled across a wedding Grace had shot and instantly fell in love, she just gives such a dreamy, romantic quality to all her photos. On our wedding day Grace and Adam were so great to have around. We are so thrilled with our wedding photos and still wonder how she coaxed an extremely camera shy groom to create such wonderful photos.”

“I knew that I wanted to wear Jenny Packham on my Wedding day and as soon as I tried on ‘Dentelle’ at Castle Couture I knew it was the dress for me. This dress is all about lace detail with a generous dose of romance. Slipping on the silk chiffon felt elegant and feminine. I also thought it suited our venue really well and couldn’t wait for Greg to see me in it at the end of the aisle.”
“Once I had the dress on, Marie from Castle Couture brought out a headdress and the most incredible wrist candy to match, the Jenny Packham Camellia bracelet. I kept the rest of my jewellery very simple; I wore my Grandmothers pearl ring which became my ‘something old and borrowed’. As for hair, I was recommended the lovely Olivia Muldoon by a friend. Olivia did such a great job of interpreting what we wanted on the day. It was a foregone conclusion that I would wear my hair up as I wanted to show off the detail on my dress.”
I adore this pretty stationery, especially the painted wooden order of the day sign. All the stationery was created by Paperbark.
“They created custom artwork to work beautifully with our invitations and it has pride of place in our new home.”
The super-pretty dresses were complemented by these gorgeous pink bouquets.
“When it came to wedding flowers I knew exactly who I wanted. Kathryn Stafford owns The Posy Barn in Waringstown. She is extremely talented and was also one of the nicest people of work with. I popped my Pinterest board in front of her and we picked the flowers. My flowers were a mix of ‘Upper Secret’,’Sweet Avalanche’, roses, Gypsophila, White Peonies and Eucalyptus.”
The bridesmaids carried personalised Perspex clutch bags by mno.logie – a gift from the bride.
“The groomsmen wore a grey three piece suit from Groom formal hire in Banbridge and a rosewater tie from Next. As for Greg, he had always wanted to wear ‘Garvery Blue’ on his wedding day picked a very handsome navy three-piece suit. I know I’m biased, but I think all of the boys scrubbed up very well”
Steph’s father walked her down the aisle to the sound of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Tenerife Sea’.
“I think for both of us meeting at the church was a definite highlight. Greg was so relaxed! I had been relaxed all morning but when I started walking up the aisle it all just hit me.”
“Before our wedding, I was most nervous about exchanging our vows. I shouldn’t have worried. There is something so special about standing before God and in front of the person you love, friends, family and making those promises; I can say that in that moment I have never ever been happier.”
The catering was provided by Galgorm and was ‘delicious’ – including a sirloin beef wedding breakfast and hog roast buffet for the evening guests. Isn’t the wedding cake absolutely beautiful?
“There was a very loose sporting theme to our day. We both are very involved in sport. Our table names were years and photographs of important sporting moments in our life and we included our favourite sporting venues on our map on our invitations.”
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“My advice is to do as much as you can in advance and if you can’t don’t be afraid to delegate. Our families were a great help in the run up to the wedding, with my Mum and my sisters coming to most appointments and spending countless hours looking through bridal magazines and Pinterest boards with me.
Just make sure to enjoy the run up over the last few weeks and try not to get stressed, it’s so exciting, and everyone is delighted for you, it’s such a special time.”
