Hello there! I hope your week is going well so far. The wedding I have to share with you today is just so pretty. Bride Hannah married Matt in a stunning Caroline Castigliano gown in rural Lancashire on the 19th of September last year. Their venue Wyresdale Park in the Forest of Bowland played host to a large tipi filled with pastel coloured paper lanterns, strings of bunting and twinkly fairy lights.
Nicola Thompson Photography is responsible for these absolutely gorgeous images and I implore you all to grab a cuppa and take a few minutes to watch the accompanying film by the wonderful Magic Hour Wedding Films.
Hannah wore the beautiful ‘Mademoiselle’ dress by Caroline Castigliano with a Joyce Jackson veil, both from Agape Bridal Boutique. A gorgeous pair of Rachel Simpson shoes and her grandmother’s pearl earrings keep the look simple and effortless, allowing the beautiful details of the dress to shine.

Beautiful back detail in this lovely gown. The bridal boutique, Agape, also happens to be a member of our Little Book For Brides wedding directory and therefore come with a highly recommended stamp of approval from Love My Dress.
The bride wore a spritz of her usual Jo Malone perfume and hairdresser Rebecca Wilson put gypsophila in her swept back waves.
“Floral Inspirations took care of our flowers. The bouquets comprised of David Austin peach roses and avalanche roses. We put gypsophila clouds on the tables inside the tipi.”
“We met in Manchester city centre, moved in together in Chorlton, got engaged on a dog walk in the Forest of Bowland and married in Scorton. We were married 9 months after getting engaged so quite a quick turnaround!”
“Our beautiful stationery was designed by Daren Newman, he’s such an amazing character and friend. Everything was printed, using card stock from the brilliant G&F Smith, by Tom at Letterpress and Beyond who’s attention to detail second to none.”
Hannah’s best ladies donned floaty pale pink Kaliko dresses with Next shoes and gypsophila in their hair. The adorable flower girl wore a pretty white Marks and Spencer dress.
Hannah and Matt’s rings were designed by Amy Wilkinson Jewellery in Northern Quarter Craft Centre, Manchester.
The groom was kitted out in a Howick suit from House of Fraser and a Tie from Mrs Bow Tie.
The fabulous Nicola Thompson Photography had the honour of capturing this beautiful wedding. I just adore the images of the couple in the field, there’s so much love to see between these two.
“Our favourite part of the day was our walk in the nearby field. It was a nice breather to break the whole day up.”
“We held our reception at Wyresdale Park, Scorton in Lancashire and hired a tipi from Stunning Tents to put on the site. Jim at Wyresdale Park was very helpful, resourceful and friendly throughout and everyone at Stunning Tents were amazing too.”
The scrumptious cake was handmade for the couple by Hannah’s talented Aunty Glynis.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
“Don’t settle, shop around and research until you get the wedding you want at the price you can afford.”
Thank you so much to the lovely Hannah and Matt for sharing the details of your beautiful wedding day with our readers. Thanks also to the fantastic Nicola Thompson for the gorgeous images and to Magic Hour for the breathtaking film.
