PACKHAM BRIDAL 0673

Jenny Packham 2018 Bridal Collection

Happy Saturday afternoon folks – hot off the press today (literally – wired over from the city of New York earlier this morning) are these images from the Jenny Packham 2018 Bridal Collection runway show, which was debuted yesterday in the city.

The collection is inspired by the novel ‘Falling’, by Colin Thubron, which tells the story of a man’s fatal attraction to a circus acrobat, Clara the Swallow. Clara’s exotic beauty, courage and love of freedom, inspired Jenny to create this collection of gowns, which features all of Jenny’s signature luxury embellishments and sequins.

The collection pays homage to the romance set inside Thubron’s otherwordly novel. Key design features include Jenny’s luxury fluid silk, trailing chiffon, oversized satin bows, cropped jackets and sculptured corsetry, alongside voluminous ballerina skirts that I know our readers will adore. Several dramatic red gowns also feature for those brides not keen on the traditional white/ivory option. The collection will be available internationally from Autumn 2017 with many styles available in petite sizing. You can find your nearest Jenny Packham stockist here.
