Rose Gold Autumnal Vineyard Wedding Inspiration

Did I ever tell you that Autumn is my favourite season? Well now you know. I can’t get enough of it and am savouring these days to their max, with all their log fire and pretty fallen leaves and beautiful countryside hues goodness.

The images we’re sharing this afternoon were shot at Holmfirth Vineyard in Yorkshire, with dresses and accessories styled by Little Book for Brides member, Silver Sixpence in her Shoe – they capture an elegant outdoor, natural Autumnal vibe and I knew you’d love them the moment I saw them. Photographer Katy Lunsford who captured these images, tells us more below. “The incredible setting of Holmfirth Vineyard in Yorkshire has been a favourite place to shoot for us in the past. Rather than a conventionally pretty summer shoot we decided to work with the changing seasons of Autumn to winter; using tones of copper, gold and grey with a hint of coral.”

“The look was modern: wild, locally foraged florals of Autumn foliage, ferns and vines, contrasting with geometric copper table details; rose and antique gold accessories sitting alongside velvet and chiffon vintage millinery.”

“The shoot took its own path on such a windy day, resulting in flyaway wisps of hair and billowing veils, which added to the feeling of the wonderful, wild, natural outdoors. A wool blanket kept our bride warm between takes – we chose a blanket with colours that complemented the tones of beautiful coral blooms and antique gold accents in the headwear.”

“The images were shot predominantly on film, which was perfect for the soft, ethereal quality and muted tones we wanted for the shoot.”
