Well the snow is melting and outside looks a world apart from the winter-wonderland that was Sunday, it was magical!
As I watch the blackbirds seeking worms from the grass this morning and spot the pretty helebore in our front garden, I can’t help but think of Spring and newness and be flooded with memories of our March 2009 wedding. It sounds like such a long time ago, but it feels like yesterday. It will be our 10th anniversary next year and I’m already starting to think about a little vow renewal of some kind – I always said I’d love to celebrate this milestone and our wedding (and me finding a career as a wedding blogger) somehow.
These beautiful images today were sent in by Victoria Mitchell Photography, who collaborated with a talented team of wedding suppliers to bring their vision of wedding day romance to life. The gowns and shoes featured in this shoot are designs by our Little Book For Brides members,Cherry Williams London and Emmy London – and we think you’ll love them. Please take a moment to visit the supplier list at the end of this feature – these teams work very hard to create beautiful bridal inspiration for your enjoyment.
“Our photoshoot was inspired by pure romance; the softness of touch, vision, scent. Taking time to be together on the best day you can ever have. Cementing loyalty, respect, security, passion and love. The day is about the Bride and Groom sharing their love and friendship with the most important people in their lives. Keeping it real, sharing special moments. Knowing this is the first day of the next chapter.”

The idyllic location of Eggington House; A unique 17th century manor house in the quintessentially English village of Eggington, Bedfordshire. The most beautiful private house, woodland and gardens available for exclusive use.
I was so delighted to see the addition of Emmy London shoes in this feature – we are long-time fan girls of this wonderful British brand – there isn’t another shoe designer like Emmy Scarterfield, she creates the most glorious and wonderfully comfortable shoes for brides.
I speak from experience – I wore a 4″ pair of Emmy heels on my own wedding day and have been smitten ever since. I’m the proud owner of several pairs of Emmy shoes now and absolutely love wearing them for extra special occasions.
