Whilst wedding world is alive with huge celebrations of all kind right now, the pandemic has shone the most beautiful spotlight on the art of how to do intimate weddings well.

These gorgeous images illustrate this most beautifully. These scenes were conceived by Edinburgh based Makeup Artist, Rosie, of That Rosie Glow, who teamed up some wonderful local Scottish wedding suppliers to showcase how chic elopements and tiny ‘just the two of us’ weddings can really be.

“We wanted to show a few looks taking you from day time to a more glamorous evening look with a full sequin dress and velvet suit.”

“For hair and makeup Rosie wanted to show a flawless, glowing skin, full and fluffy brows then we did a few looks on the eyes all keeping a winged black eyeliner.”

“We love the modern look of a hint of teal under the brides bottom lashes for a gorgeous alternative to a traditional makeup look. The makeup used was all mac and Charlotte Tilbury.”

“As covid has changed weddings so much we wanted to reflect this is a shoot by showing how a smaller city elopement can still be very much luxurious, chic and modern.”

“A lot of people think Edinburgh for a city elopement as quite a traditional place with kilts and castles but with the beautiful buildings and lots of high end independent businesses we wanted to show a different option.”

“The feel was very much ultra chic, modern and we wanted to use all local and independent businesses in Edinburgh.”

“The looks were polished but more relaxed than a traditional wedding feel.”
