Account Manager Emer married Doctor Gez on 2nd September 2022, at Falside Mill at Kingsbarns in Scotland.
The beautiful bride wore a sublime gown by French designer, Laure De Sagazan, which was perfect for the modern, bohemian aesthetic and vibe the couple wanted to achieve on the day.
The couple chose Love My Dress recommended photographer, Carol-Anne of Harper Scott Photography to capture their images, and I ADORE the result. Enjoy!
Bridal Beauty & Accessories
I wore the veil my sister wore for her wedding which matched my dress really well.
My shoes were by Steve Madden. My earrings were from Melle Cloche in Glasgow. I really wanted to wear big statement earrings and loved the clashing style of these with my dress.
My perfume was Jo Malone’s ‘English Pear and Freesia’. This scent reminds me of really happy memories of our time in Australia and smells really clean and fresh.
My makeup artist was Stephanie Ferry Makeup.
My bridesmaids wore gold sandals with dresses by Rewritten – also from Melle Cloche.
The Dress
Laure de Sagazan
I wore a Laure De Sagazan dress, from The Mews Bridal. It was such a lovely experience getting my dress from this Nottinghill boutique.
Sara gave us such a wonderful experience and really took time to listen to exactly what we wanted – and the shop is beautiful.
I initially struggled to find any wedding dresses I really liked. I saw the dress I chose on Instagram on the mews’ page and knew I would love it.
My dress was made in Paris which made it feel really special. I loved the sleeves and the eleganza lace on the dress. It felt so detailed, simple and totally my style. I wanted something comfortable as well.
The Ceremony
My dad accompanied me down the aisle, to the sound of Wild Mountain Thyme, played by the fiddle.
Our celebrant was Cate Reid.
Our favourite memories of the day were the ceremony and seeing everyone in the courtyard was the best feeling. The sun was shinning and everyone was on such good form.
Gez wore a cream suit from Wax London.

Harper Scott Photography
Carol-Anne of Harper Scott Photography had photographed my friend’s wedding where I was a bridesmaid so spent a bit of time with her. I love the style of Carol-Anne’s photos and the casual/candid ones in particular.
I feel she really captured the mood of the day so well and everyone’s facial expressions.

Detail & Decor
Our stationery was by Cara Holsgrove – Paper Parade did all our stationery which we absolutely loved.
We wanted a beach/country feel to the wedding which is why we chose the location. We wanted our wedding to be bohemian but stylish and not too formal.
