Kirsty, founder of Fall Into Flowers, married her love Jack, who works for his family business Osprey London, on 24th June this year, wearing the most beautiful couture floral wedding dress by British designer, Josephine Scott.
This utterly gorgeous, classic, English country wedding was always bound to be bursting with florals given the bride’s profession. An abundance of the most delightful and colourful English blooms styled the spaces at the church and the marquee reception at The Hoo, based in rural Hertfordshire, a brand-new wedding venue. Kirsty and Jack’s was in fact the very first wedding to be hosted in this magnificent location.
Kirsty opted for the most beautiful and classic couture, floral gown by British designer, Josephine Scott, which she discovered at Carina B Couture. Both designer and bridal boutique are members of the Love My Dress directory and I recommend them most highly to everyone on the hunt for a couture bridal gown. Continuing her floral theme, she asked talented illustrator and friend Harriet Dahan Bouchard to create her stationery so tables were adorned with the most beautiful botanical illustrations.

The Dress
Josephine Scott
I wore the Constance gown by British designer Josephine Scott, which I discovered at the Carina B Couture bridal boutique. Carina and her team were incredible.
I adored the soft femininity of Josephine’s design – the florals and organza.
The structure to the dress but it was so floaty it felt like a fairytale, and a moment for the bow!
The Ceremony
My dad accompanied me down the aisle – dressed in our family tartan and looking very handsome!
We had a traditional wedding ceremony and this was important to Jack and I.
We had ‘Love is Patient‘ and ‘The Art of a Good Marriage‘, by Wilferd A. Paterson as our readings.
Photography
Our photographer was Lucy Darby – she is the best and a total delight to work with, she captures moments effortlessly and blends into the day seamlessly.
We would recommend Lucy to any bride and client.
How They Met
We met on Hinge! We got engaged a year and a bit after we met on a walk with a hot chocolate before jack whisked me away for a surprise weekend. I had 20 mins to pack a bag!
We got engaged on 1st December 2022 and married in June 2023, so it wasn’t a long engagement.

The Flowers
Being a wedding florist and founder of Fall Into Flowers, I had done so many weddings which didnt make it any easier.
We wanted a colourful day, with great music, food and of course lots of flowers.
Reception, Food & Drink
Harriet Dahan Bouchard is an amazing artist and friend who designed everything in terms of our stationery.
The food was totally delicious.
Jack’s sister made a three tier cake; victoria sponge, lemon and white chocolate and raspberry – it was delicious.
Our caterers were Host Catering – founder Lucy is wonderful – we would recommend her again and again!
Words of Wedded Wisdom
I was told, and I think it is so important too – that at some point during the day, you should step back with your new husband/wife and take a quiet moment to look at all the people who came to celebrate and be there with you both.
There is so much love in this day and you must take a second to look at the amazing people in your life!
For us the day was just about love, you really could feel it everywhere. It was electric.
