Leah and Adam married on 25 September 2025 at Mas Palou, a family-run vineyard in Penedès near Barcelona, with Jessica North behind the camera. Leah had always wanted a relaxed, behind-the-scenes style of photography and loved how naturally Jessica moved through the day, so unobtrusively that she sometimes forgot she was there.
The couple took much of their inspiration from Mas Palou itself, creating a celebration that was laid-back, stylish and full of the music they love, from Tems and Cleo Sol to old-school soul and R&B. Leah wore a corseted Divine Atelier gown from Miss Bush, found after an 18-month search that had taken her to bridal appointments in New York and Ireland before she discovered the right dress practically on her doorstep in Surrey.
There are so many lovely personal details in this wedding, from Leah walking the first half of the aisle alone before meeting her mum, to her sister officiating and writing vows that had the whole room laughing.
Adam wore a custom suit embroidered with their initials and wedding date, while dinner was followed by a sharing chocolate pudding, a champagne tower and dancing to ‘Darlin’ Darling Baby’ by The O’Jays.

The Venue & Location
Our venue was Mas Palou in Penedes, Spain. We love Barcelona and Maria, who runs the events at Mas Palou was Amazing – super helpful, told us about Sitges and we fell in love during one of our visits.
Mas Palou is also a family run vineyard – we had the luxury of meeting some of the family while planning our wedding and they are just the kindest, most humble people ever.
We can’t recommend them enough and it brings us so much joy when we see weddings take place at Mas Palou. We just loved the vibe, it was chill but classy and chic. I genuinely can’t explain it, but from the first video call I had with Maria, I think we both knew we were each others people.
The Dress
Divine Atelier
I wore Divine Atelier, from Miss Bush, a lovely little shop in Surrey.
I found my dress very last minute after searching for 18 months. I tried dresses in New York and Ireland and then found the one in surrey (practically on my doorstep). They were amazing, laid back and I would highly recommend them.
Fun Fact, my now husband actually came with me for the first try on – I managed to secure a cancellation booking they had so had to go 24 hours later and couldn’t be bothered to rally my friends toegther, after I’d already dragged them all over the world with me to try dresses on.
I loved the corset on my dress. I felt SNATCHED! The skirt was super flattering and the scarf elevated it.
I didn’t wear a veil – I wanted elegance without tradition. My shoes were ASOS Design and I wore hair accessories from H&M. My scent was Prada’s Paradox.
When it came to jewellery, I didn’t wear anything significant, however I kept my Cartier ring on which was a birthday present from Adam.
My bridesmaids wore dresses from Pretty Lavish but I let them choose their own designs.
Adam wore a custom-made suit from Suit Supply, with gold embroidery of the wedding date and our initials.
The Ceremony
I walked the first half of the aisle alone and then met my mum half way and she accompanied me the rest of the way – this was to the sound of Loved By You, by Kirby Lauryen.
Our ceremony officiant was my sister and her being so was the best thing ever. Everyone said she should do this professionally and that she was the highlight of peoples day (which was a bit rude, haha!)
My sister wrote our vows as part of her role as officiant – she made them super personal. Adam used to be a swim coach and she said in our vows ‘If anyone slides in his DMs asking for lessons, the answer is no’. She had the crowd belly laughing.
Our photographer was Jessica North, her photographs are just amazing. I can’t put into words how amazing it was working with Jess and the finished product. They are so good. I look at my photos at least four times a day and relive every moment.
Jess captured the day so perfeclty. I can’t explain the feeling, but Jess was just incredible and photos feel so euphoric. I would do it over and over again. Jess is one of the best and every time I see her work I just love it even more. Throughout the experience Jess just matched my vibe, very behind the scenes – I think I even forgot Jess was there at one point, thats how comfortable she makes you feel.
We also hired a content creator , Cristina of Vow Visuals, who we would absolutely recommend, she was amazing and worked so well with Jess. She just felt like a friend who was capturing the day.
The Reception
Our catering was provided by Caravan Made – the best caterer in Barcelona! They supply simple, honest, seasonal food that is made with love.
We designed all our all stationery ourselves on Canva and then used printed.com but the quality and speed was great.
We didn’t have a cake – we did a champagne tower after our vows though and then had a sharing chocolate pudding post dinner.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
My biggest regret was that we didn’t extend the party.
Relax. Enjoy, no one will remember the colour scheme or the personalised cocktails. But they will remember the vibe and energy so keep it personal, good vibes and dont blow the budget – I know its the best day but that can be achieved by making it personally yours.
