Hello sweet and beautiful Sunday. It honestly couldn’t be a more gorgeous day for celebrating Easter today – long may this sunshine reign! I hear some of you have rain, which we had yesterday, in grey skies and torrential downpour style, so do forgive me but, I’m making the most of it right now.
We’ve already shared a From the Heart feature this morning but I wanted to treat you to a rather apt second post today. The delicious colours in this collection of images stole my heart seconds within seeing them. This Spring styled shoot was Inspired by The Pantone colours of the year for 2016; ‘Rose quartz and Serenity’. These charming and feminine shades drew photographer Sophie Stimpson to the most beautiful rural wedding venue that is South Farm, Royston, where Sophie collaborated with a team of wonderful wedding suppliers to create these inspiring images. I really hope you love just as much as I do.
“South Farm in Royston has a lovely pastel coloured main house covered with beautiful greenery. The dress I was so excited about using for this shoot was the ‘Briana’ dress by Sarah Janks with its soft dreamy colour that fit perfectly with the very pretty blue shoes by Emmy London“

“Everything worked so well when brought together in this shoot, the key to this was keeping the colours all soft and pretty, using plenty of ambient light and keeping everything as natural looking as possible which is the style I totally love. Jeni of Two Little Cats Bakery was very excited to create a pontone inspired cake and oh my did she Wow us all! It looked sensational and very different with the two centre tiers half naked and the top and bottom tiers carefully painted with the pastel pink and blue….and it taste divine!”
“Sharon of Pettigrove Lane provided us with perfect tableware including fine decorative glassware and exquisite lace plates in antique white and blush topped with supreme rose gold cutlery. Calligraphy artist Claire Gould created a perfect piece of art with her delicate calligraphy on luxury card and a fragile rose quarts slice.”
“South Farm is a perfect wedding venue for those seeking a romantic country wedding. The enchanted gardens compliment the beautiful fine old buildings and offer various stunning colours. It was the pastel colours of the main house and the stunning grounds that drew me to this venue.”
Florist Juliet of Willow and Wolf was previously an Art teacher before pursuing her florist career and her work shows how creative she is with this Romantic, wild looking bouquet in soft pinks with roses, ranunculus and spring blossom.
“The beautiful antique colour Briana dress by Sarah Janks with its beaded lace and layered tulle looked incredible on our bride with its sleek fit and complimented with these elegant Emmy London shoes and lovely mantilla veil with blush lace by Britten weddings.”
“Makeup artist Debbie Lloyd worked her magic using soft pale pink tones to create a subtle yet glamorous look for our bride. She opted for a slightly brighter pink for the lips called Hot Gossip by MAC.”
“Michelle Michelle Smith created a modern twist on a classic elegant up do style adding the pretty soft blue hair pins by Britten weddings.
I was so in love with the gorgeous Rose Quartz ring by Beaverbrooks the jewellers, its simple yet elegant and was paired with delicate morganite necklace and earrings.”
A huge thank you to photographer Sophie Stimpson and the entire creative team listed below for asking us to share these beautiful images.
