What a wonderful day it is today – sunshiny and bright, and tomorrow is set to be even hotter and sunnier – we have a mini heatwave on the way, hooray! I remember the day I found my wedding dress was a day like today. I’ll remember that day forever – the elation and excitement, I drove home from my boutique appointment on such a natural high. I imagine there are a lot of you who have experienced something similar, but for those of you who’ve yet to find the dress that makes your heart flutter, today I’d like to offer up a touch of lovely inspiration on our wedding blog today, by way of Charlotte Balbier.
We’ve recently introduced you to Charlotte Balbier’s new ‘Untamed Love’ collection for 2017, but I was keen to share these photographs with you today, taken by my lovely friend and our Little Book For Brides member, the wonderful Georgina Harrison. Georgina accompanied me to the White Gallery trade event in May this year and we were lucky enough to capture some time, albeit briefly, with Charlotte and her team.
The inclusion of these pretty floral bridal gowns in pastel shades truly sets this collection apart. As we see more and more brides feeling comfortable in taking steps away from all white or ivory traditional bridal fashion, it’s such a delight to see a designer so confidently embrace these charming design choices. Some of these gowns have pockets too. This collection is where fashion meets function and works just brilliantly.
