These editorial scenes of an intimate, candlelit wedding reception, beautifully blend wedding day maximalism with contemporary arrangement.
These images are the result of a creative collaboration entitled, ‘Dawn to Dusk’, and are the result of multiple talented and creative wedding suppliers coming together to fulfil a shared vision.
Two of these suppliers are brilliant Love My Dress recommended businesses; Luna and the Lane, who planned, styled and provided the props and furniture to set the scene, and Bridal Indulgence, a bridal boutique based in Farnham and founded by Kerri Marlow – who supplied the gowns. Each of the three gowns used in this editorial is a Watters design; ‘Garance’, ‘Elynor’ and ‘Naya’ – a fabulously playful mini dress with a statement bow at the back. Enjoy!
Our editorial shoot took place at Riseholme, a stunning venue nestled in the picturesque Sussex Downs, providing the perfect backdrop for the team’s vision.

We wanted to create scenes of an intimate candlelit wedding reception that beautifully fused maximalism with contemporary arrangement.
Fashion by Watters
Because of the concept of the shoot going from day to night, we chose the Garance for its simple silhouette and movement. The sleeves added an extra contemporary edge. We wanted the first gown to ooze sexiness and class. The Garance gown is daring and chic.
This Polished satin sheath is draped to intrigue with exposed corsetry and just the perfect touch of demure. Watters finished the corset with hand-beaded pearl details for added drama. This gown can be ordered with or without sleeves.
Elynor is a sophisticated and alluring bridal gown with a classy timeless appeal. Perfectly draped and pleated and finished with an elegant satin tie and removable puff sleeves – and absolutely guaranteed to steal the show.
For the evening concept, we wanted a party-ready gown. Naya is a cute and perfect for this. With the opulent bow, this takes a relatively simple mini to something playful and fun. It’s the go-to little white dress for any occasion – a Mikado silk mini and an absolutely perfect addition to your bridal trousseau.
That spectacular bow by the way can be removed to create two looks. And Naya also has pockets!
“Dawn to Dusk” was an exploration of decadent retro meets high-end refined detailing. Against the Edwardian setting, we juxtaposed fabric, form, and texture, resulting in a visually striking composition that resonates with modern brides seeking sophistication and elegance.
Fabric, form, and texture contrasted amidst the opulent setting, creating a visual feast for the senses. As the sun set, the venue transformed into a backdrop for decadent partying, illuminated by the warm glow of candlelight.
Swathes of fabric-like fondant adorned the cake, accentuating the luminosity of the gowns worn by our models. Pearls, mirrors, and bow details on the accessories added to the overall warmth and elegance of the setting.
