Castell d’Enfesta, a historic castle nestled in the Spanish countryside just an hour from Barcelona, provided the setting for this beautifully styled bridal editorial. The castle sits among soft hills just outside Barcelona, the light falling across its old stone in that unmistakable Spanish way.
This editorial reflects the refined artistry of Jesús Peiró, a label known for its clean lines, impeccable tailoring and quiet sophistication. Much loved by British brides, you can discover more weddings featuring Jesús Peiró gowns here (scroll to the end of the listing).
The styling draws on natural tones and sculptural form, weaving modern simplicity with heritage detail. The images reflect a shift in how modern couples choose to celebrate, favouring spaces with meaning and depth over perfection and excess.
Planned by Timeless Journey and photographed by The Ivory Roses, the story unfolds through a palette of soft neutrals, candlelight and heirloom linens, pieces first crafted in 1929 by the bride’s late grandmother. The result is an intimate vision of Spanish romance: modern, soulful and effortlessly beautiful. Enjoy!

The shoot was held at Castell d’Enfesta, a historic castle nestled in the Spanish countryside but just one hour from Barcelona, and even less from the airports.
The objective was to showcase how modern couples are gravitating toward venues that are rich in character and authenticity. Every image was carefully composed to highlight this evolving trend: weddings that feel both elevated and deeply personal.

Complementing the look, Loli Boucau, gave the makeup and hair everlasting touches. A deeply sentimental layer is added through the use of heirloom linens, crafted in 1929 by the bride’s late grandmother. These pieces are more than décor, they are tangible connections to past generations and a symbol of enduring love captures by Nicole from the Ivory Roses.
The styling fuses soft, neutral palettes drawn from the venue’s natural surroundings, muted greens, ivories, and whites, contemporary elements like monochromatic florals and asymmetrical table draping lend a modern touch created by the elite Sue Ben-Aicha, from Timeless Journey.
Sculptural calla lilies in minimalist arrangements echo the elegance of fine art, while candlelight in varied heights casts a romantic, ethereal glow designed by the recognised Daniel Lafuente.
Through intentional design, personal details, and cinematic photography, this shoot evokes a sense of intimate celebration that is as stylish as it is soulful.
The after-party scenes, complete with joyful, unfiltered moments, close the narrative by showing the transition from luxury to carefree celebration—capturing love in its most timeless form.
