Tori and Kevyn married at Villa Belvedere., set within the Tenuta Romignano wine estate in the rolling hills of Tuscany. They had gathered their family and friends there for the week, so by the time the wedding day arrived, everyone had already slipped into the slower pace of the place, with poolside afternoons, long dinners, wine from the estate and late nights outdoors.

Tori wore a lace gown by Flora Bride, finally choosing the very first dress she had tried on. Just before leaving for Italy, she made a last minute addition her accessories, adding a simple string of pearls that ended up defining her whole look.

Their ceremony overlooked the vineyards, with live music by Ferdinando Argenti and handwritten vows exchanged beside the hills of Tenuta Romignano. Afterwards, guests gathered by the pool for champagne before dinner beneath chandeliers and candlelit tables layered with fruit and flowers inspired by the surrounding landscape.

Photographer Bernadeta Kupiec, a Love My Dress recommended supplier, documented the celebrations across film and digital photography, after Tori and Kevyn specifically searched for someone whose work focused on emotion, movement and the smaller moments between everything else – and fell instantly in love with her work.

Kevyn, wore a bespoke double breasted suit created specifically for our wedding day, featuring personalised details throughout the design. The look was timeless, refined, and perfectly reflected his style.

Kev kept his accessories classic and timeless, wearing a Rolex Datejust and a white gold bracelet that I gifted him a few years ago, which made it feel even more meaningful and personal. He also wore Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, which is a scent I absolutely love on him.

My vision for the wedding was inspired by the location itself. When I think of Tuscany, I think of its timelessness, the way connections feel so easy, the slowed down pace, the all surrounding organic beauty – and of course, the wine! So I drew inspiration from my love of Tuscany. I leaned into vintage and organic themes, designed a colour scheme influenced by the wines and rolling hills, and we constructed a day that’s pace allowed for meaningful connection, a big family dinner, and lots of fun (and wine).

The Dress

Flora Bride

I purchased my Flora Bride dress from Lovely Bride in Dallas, Texas. My bridal shopping experience was so consultative and allowed me to step outside of what I thought I wanted and into what was my dream dress. I would recommend it.

I had a hard time choosing my dress initially. The dress I chose, I tried on on the first day I started looking for dresses. I went to multiple shops after that day and It wasn’t until I realized that in all those other shops, I was looking for a version of what I had already found.

My dress has the most beautiful lace that I was called to because it reminded me of vintage fashion, but the fit was modern and perfectly sexy.

I was lucky enough to wear a piece of jewelry I’ve loved as long as I can think back – my mother’s wedding ring. I’ve spoken of my love for her ring since I was a child and she passed it down for me to wear on my wedding day.

It was the most precious and meaningful gift to have on my day and seeing it on my hand was a symbol of a true and beautiful lifetime partnership.

I wore a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Miss Z Mesh’ in White and I wore Sissa by Mind Games as my scent.

Maybe I was more of a Type-B bride, because I only decided to grab a string of pearls to wear three days before I left for Italy. It was an accessory that I think ultimately really defined my bridal look!

The Ceremony

I chose to walk down the aisle by myself, where Kev was waiting for me at the altar. It felt incredibly personal, intentional, and emotional, and I loved that our first moment during the ceremony was simply meeting each other there.

I was accompanied by an instrumental version of Dreamboat by Hiatus Kaiyote, beautifully performed live by Ferdinando Argenti. It felt emotional, intimate, and incredibly special, and it set the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony.

Our ceremony was officiated by Micaela Sangermano, who created such a personal, warm, and meaningful ceremony for us. She was wonderful to work with throughout the process and helped make the ceremony feel incredibly intimate and special.

We incorporated a few meaningful symbolic elements into our ceremony. One of them was a ring warming ceremony, where our rings were passed through our loved ones so they could each quietly offer a blessing, prayer, or loving intention before the rings were returned to us. It made the moment feel incredibly intimate and emotional knowing our family and friends had all shared in that symbolism.

We also included a wine blending ceremony, where we combined two wines together to symbolize two lives, families, and journeys becoming one. It was such a beautiful visual representation of unity and marriage, and felt especially fitting for our wedding in Tuscany.

We included a reading during our ceremony that was read by our celebrant. We wanted every part of the ceremony to feel intimate, intentional, and reflective of the kind of love and marriage we hope to build together. The reading centred around love not only in the big moments, but in the quiet everyday acts of comfort, support, protection, and presence.

The full reading was ‘My Love’;

“My love surrounds the house in which you dwell, the place you work,
the streets your feet have known, with more of tenderness than I can tell
and prayers that I have said for you alone.

If you are lonely know that I am near, if you are sad, my faith will comfort you.
The things you value I shall hold most dear, your happiness will make me happy too.

And be sure of this; though you may travel far, my love will guard you anywhere you are.”

We wrote our own vows and wanted them to feel very personal and true to who we are rather than overly formal. A lot of them centered around the little moments in our relationship that ended up meaning the most to us.

Kevyn talked about how our second date quietly changed everything for him. We were painting together and he remembers stopping just to watch me focus and realizing in that moment that I was someone he truly needed in his life. He also spoke about how loving each other has taught us to slow down and appreciate ordinary moments more deeply.

I spoke about how life with Kevyn has shaped me, from learning how to navigate life and travel together to realising that all of my favorite memories somehow include him. One of the most meaningful parts of my vows was reflecting on something Kevyn had shared with me long before the wedding, that before we met, he moved through life very quickly.

Food was just food, traveling was just going somewhere, and experiences came and went without much thought. But over time, loving each other changed the way we both experienced the world and taught us to notice the beauty in even the smallest moments. When I think about him saying that, I’m reminded of how love moves quietly and slowly at first, until one day you realise someone has completely changed the way you see the world around you.

Some lines from our vows that really meant a lot to us were:

Kev:

“You have this way of making life feel fuller. Brighter. More meaningful. Even in the smallest moments.”

“Tori, I choose you today. I will choose you tomorrow. And I will choose you for the rest of my life.”

Tori:

“When I think of you saying this, I am reminded of how love moves…”

“I had to process the realization that all the great parts of my life have the shape of your hands all over them.”

“My every day forward is about loving you. My husband, my chosen family.”

Writing our own vows ended up being one of the most emotional and meaningful parts of the entire wedding because it gave us the chance to truly speak to each other in our own words.

Kev worked closely with a designer from Gabriel & Co. to design my engagement ring, which also meant my wedding band had to be custom made to perfectly fit alongside it. He put so much thought and detail into every aspect of both rings. I later learned that he spent months working through the design process and definitely kept the designers on their toes haha. Knowing how much intention, care, and effort he poured into creating them makes them even more meaningful to me.

For his wedding band, Kev wanted something timeless, classic, and simple that truly reflected him. He chose an elegant 18k 4mm gold band that felt understated, refined, and perfectly his style.

We had a very specific vision for the photography from the very beginning, especially when it came to capturing the wedding on film. We wanted the photos to feel timeless, emotional, candid, and full of the little in between moments rather than overly posed or scripted.

I honestly went through countless portfolios online, probably more than I would like to admit, hah!. The moment I came across Bernadeta Kupiec’s work, I immediately knew she was the one. I immediately called Kevyn into the living room, put her portfolio up on the TV, and started screen sharing all of her work. We both instantly fell in love with how intentional every image felt. She had such a beautiful way of capturing emotion, movement, lighting, and the small details that most people would normally miss.

On the wedding day, Bernadeta and her husband made the entire experience feel effortless and comfortable. Nothing ever felt forced or overly directed, which allowed us to truly be present and enjoy the day naturally.

One of the things I will always be most grateful for, aside from the incredible photos themselves, was how present and personal she was throughout the day. Before everything started, she came and sat with me while I was getting my makeup done and just talked with me like a friend. That immediately put me at ease and made the experience feel so natural rather than transactional. Honestly, she feels like family now.

Bernadeta captured everything we envisioned and somehow even more than that. Looking through the photos now feels like reliving the emotions of the entire week all over again, and we truly could not recommend her enough.

How They Met

We met through family and mutual connections that kept bringing us closer together until we finally met in person. Our first date was on June 26, 2021, and from the very beginning there was an immediate connection. We stayed out late talking for hours and made plans to see each other again right away. From that point on, we truly never stopped choosing each other.

As our relationship grew, so did our love and admiration for one another. What started with attraction quickly became something so much deeper, rooted in friendship, trust, intentionality, faith, laughter, and a genuine love for doing life together. Every season together only made us more certain that we had found our person.

When we got engaged, Kevyn completely surprised me in the most incredible way. He secretly planned everything and rented a beautiful venue with the style and atmosphere of a castle. He hired a team to decorate the space and had a live string ensemble playing during the proposal, which made the entire moment feel unbelievably romantic and magical. I was completely caught off guard, emotional, and honestly in awe of how thoughtful and intentional every detail was. It felt like something out of a dream.

After the proposal, Kevyn told me we were going out for a romantic dinner together, but when we arrived, he surprised me all over again with all of our family and closest friends waiting there to celebrate with us. It made the entire night even more emotional, special, and unforgettable.

We got engaged on June 25, 2025, and were married on April 18, 2026, so we were engaged for approximately 10 very exciting and joy-filled months before our wedding day.

The Reception

The venue itself included a coordinator, Chiara, with whom I worked with to communicate my vision for the day. I planned with her and she executed all the onsite details for the week.

For the decor, I really wanted the space to feel romantic, timeless, and full of atmosphere. One of the main elements I envisioned was having chandeliers hanging above the dining table, which instantly transformed the space and gave it such an elegant feel. During cocktail hour, we also had a champagne tower, which added a fun and classic touch to the celebration.

For our wedding entertainment, we hired Ferdinando Argenti and his band. Ferdinando is an incredibly talented Italian pianist, vocalist, composer, and arranger who has performed alongside renowned jazz musicians such as Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, and Kenny Wheeler.

Music was such an important part of our wedding day, and Ferdinando and his team brought so much emotion, elegance, and energy to every moment. From start to end, they created an atmosphere that felt unforgettable for both us and our guests.

Another detail that was especially important to me was incorporating large candelabras as the centerpieces for both the dining table and the wedding cake table. Watching the candles slowly burn throughout the evening and the wax naturally drip down created the exact romantic and old world aesthetic I had envisioned from the very beginning. It brought so much warmth and intimacy to the entire atmosphere.

Our floral design was handled through the team at Tenuta Romignano. I was inspired by garden themes and wanted the floral design to look playfully overflowing. We decided to use fruits, organic elements, and even flowers found growing on the venue itself. Our colours – whites, greens, and pops of red, chosen to play beautifully alongside the Tuscan backdrop.

The menus and place cards were beautifully handwritten by the team at Tenuta Romignano, which was exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding day. We wanted every detail to feel personal, intentional, meaningful, and special for our guests. The calligraphy was absolutely amazing and added such an elegant and timeless touch to the overall atmosphere and tablescape.

Every course throughout our wedding celebration was prepared by the chef at Tenuta Romignano. The food was one of the highlights of the entire experience and perfectly reflected the warmth, authenticity, and beauty of Tuscany.

All of the wine served during the celebration was also from Romignano Wine Farm, which made the experience feel even more special and connected to the estate itself.

Our wedding cake was created by the chef at Tenuta Romignano. We chose a traditional Italian Millefoglie cake, and it was absolutely incredible. Everyone loved it. The perfect balance of sweetness, the freshness of the fruit, and the crunch of the crispy puff pastry made it unforgettable. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted just as amazing as it looked, and it felt like the perfect choice for our wedding in Italy.

Evening & Dancing

We danced to Yebba’s Heartbreak by YEBBA. The song is incredibly special to us, not only because of the lyrics and emotion behind it, but because of a memory tied to one of our first trips to Italy together.

During that trip, we were standing on the balcony of our hotel room late at night, surrounded by the sounds of the city, cars driving by, people talking in the streets below, and the quiet energy of Italy at night. We played the song softly from my phone and started slow dancing together on the balcony. It was such a simple and intimate moment, but it stayed with us. I remember realizing right then that this would one day be our first dance song.

Having that same song play during our wedding in Italy felt incredibly full circle and deeply personal to our relationship.

I was not on social media much while wedding planning, but it was so helpful to have all the planning resources, information, and visionary support in one place on Love My Dress. Thank you!

Words of Wedded Wisdom

I think I would have to start with the two things everyone tells you before your wedding because they are absolutely true, the day goes by so fast, and not everything is going to go exactly as planned.

So our biggest piece of advice would be to slow down in the middle of all the fast moments and truly take everything in. Look around during dinner, listen to your guests laughing, hold your partner’s hand for an extra second, step back and soak in the atmosphere you created together. Those small moments end up becoming some of the memories you hold onto the most.

And honestly, embrace the unexpected moments too, even the stressful ones. Some of the things that did not go according to plan ended up becoming some of our favorite memories from the day. At the end of it all, those imperfect and unplanned moments are what make the day feel real, personal, unforgettable, and perfectly yours.

One thing we would love to mention is how important it was for us to create a wedding experience that felt much bigger than just a single day. We spent an entire week together in Tuscany surrounded by the people we love most, and that ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of the entire experience. Throughout the week, everyone shared meals together, explored the area, stayed up late talking, laughing, drinking wine, and simply enjoying being present with one another. It created such a unique atmosphere where people who had never met before quickly began to feel like family.

From the welcome gatherings and rehearsal dinner to the ceremony itself, we wanted every part of the week to feel intimate, intentional, and reflective of who we are as a couple. Music, food, candlelight, conversation, and the overall atmosphere played such a huge role in shaping the feeling of the celebration.

Looking back, one of the most special parts was not just the wedding day itself, but getting to spend an entire week in Tuscany creating memories with the people we love most before officially beginning this next chapter of our lives together.
