Reminiscent of the elegant dancing shoes of the 40's and 50's, this spring/summer 2010 collection is aptly named the 'Keep and Love' range.
The designer, Henrietta Rose Samuels, graduated from the London College of Fashionwith a degree in Footwear Design & Development (Cordwainers). During her time at university, Henrietta also gained an industrial placement for one year of study with footwear designer Georgina Goodman. She has worked in London and Italy for handmade shoe companies.
Henrietta set up the Hetty Rose company in 2007 and was selected to exhibit at London Fashion Week in her first season. She now features at many shows and exhibitions.
The Keep and Love collection is designed to be very wearable in soft muted colours that you'll find go with almost anything. Henrietta has drawn inspiration from her travels, and used trinkets and fabrics she's found along the way, from exotic locations and vintage fairs.

Hetty shoes main collection is also something rather special and far more colourful. Using primarily Japanese kimono fabrics which are full of hidden meanings and significance, Hetty Rose has created an absolutely stunning selection of bright and colourful shoes, with the designs sourced from the most exquisite antique fabrics. Look at these GORGEOUS examples! …

These materials are primarily vintage Japanese kimono fabrics: relics of a disappearing world, saturated in significance and hidden meanings. The designs are simple, yet provocative, designed to make the foot appear more attractive. The collaboration of colours, materials, service and directional design result in unique, wearable footwear. The collection is based on a theory of re-using and re-working vintage materials in a creative and sustainable way, hand making gorgeous, feminine shoes to fit.
Hows THAT for a totally wow factor pair of shoes? Your LBD need never look boring again. Clever Henrietta has even designed some bags to match!….(can it get much better?!?)…
It can. Yes, really…! Divine designer baby shoes…..

Hetty also offers Brides a bespoke service- she will create your dream pair of shoes just for you. If that doesn't make you fall head over heels in love, I don't know what will.
