An Autumnal wedding celebration doesn’t have to mean the crunching of leaves, rich burnt oranges and cosy fire pits. With this change of season, we are looking at a fresh and crisp approach towards a modern autumnal British wedding.

The Inspiration
This concept epitomises contemporary classic, it’s elegance with a hint of modern and the barest whisper of tradition. A strong colour palette sets the backdrop to this vision, uplifting and adding gusto to the expected autumn shades with bold gachala green standing strong against the vivid mango.
To ground these strong colours into the romantic and elegant look, they are anchored amongst softer shades of mustard and peach with gold detailing and surrounded with blousy blooms and water colour details.

The Venue
With it’s majestic style and rugged charm, Bignor Park is the backdrop for this fresh autumnal celebration. The fact that the soft pink exterior and exquisite green shutters perfectly compliment the colour palette is a beautiful synchronicity.
Bignor Park is a privately owned estate, set within eleven hundred acres of stunning and unspoilt surroundings at the foot of the South Downs, within the South Downs National Park. The Lookbook
Our Bride is a vibrant beauty, epitomising the essence of the modern day Bride in a bold gown. She will wear a sheek and elegant dress in a dynamic shade, adding refinement and grace with a natural makeup look of flawless skin and a slick of nude lipstick. Her hair will be loosely tousled and accessories kept sleek and minimal, allowing her innate style and fashion-forward gown to be the main feature.
Her maids will pick up the vibrant colours of the palette, complimenting the Bride in cintrasting shades of Gachala green and vivid Mango adding detail with subtle texture with tactile fabrics. Together, they will beautifully personify the concept of the day and encapsulate the modern autumnal vision.
Design Details
A stylish and modern stationery suite features throughout this celebration. Enticing textured stock features a soft green watercolour design contrasting modern font choices and bold calligraphy.
For the tablescape, a vibrant and bold colour palette unites with soft detailing to create a contemporary yet graceful setting for this celebration. Guests will dine on long washed wooden tables decorated with layered organic crockery in bold gachala green sat amongst neutral tones, soft gold cutlery and elegant, clean glassware. The tallest, skinniest, tapered candles in graceful shades of blush and peach will flicker in the dimming evening light whilst guests feast on a delectable banquet.
The dining experience is a fundamental part of this occasion; guests will enjoy organic and wholesome treats to celebrate the season including nourishing carrot, ginger and pumpkin seed soup and raw mango cheesecake as they sip on delicious fennel and grapefruit cocktails.
Semi-structured floral arrangements will adorn the space and trail the length of the table. Blush and apricot Roses and Café au Lait Dahlias compliment the bold ceramics and balance the colour palette with perfection.
