This elegant spring wedding editorial was created to showcase the beauty of seasonally available spring flowers, styled in a way that feels elegant, romantic and considered. Inspired by Pre-Raphaelite art and the soft femininity of an English bride, it brings together sustainable floral design using foam free mechanics and a gentle blush-toned palette.
Jody Page of Country Wild worked with British-grown flowers and foliage to create natural, movement-led arrangements, including a floral arch that framed the Long Room at Twyning Park in The Cotswolds. Blossom, garden roses and scented stocks were styled with care to reflect the season, the light and the softness of the setting.
With a flowing gown, loose waves and flowers threaded through her hair, the bride’s look nods to the Lady of Shalott – romantic, untamed and entirely at ease in her surroundings. Words from stylist Candice at The Vintage Collective follow. Enjoy!

The concept was rooted in simplicity; a springtime wedding with a subtle nod to the past. Taking inspiration from the Lady of Shalott, the team brought the vision to life through a soft, flowing gown, seasonal florals, considered table details and light-filled photography that captures an air of quiet, spring-time romance.

Jody of Country Wild, and Candice of The Vintage Collective led the floral and styling direction, while Laura and Lowri focused on the bridal aesthetic, curating gowns, veils, hair and makeup to align with the editorial’s timeless look.x

A vintage boat was always destined to feature—especially with calm water and perfect weather. Local supplier Live Life Adventures provided a charming vintage vessel for the final river shots, creating a magical close to the day surrounded by wildlife, soft light and gentle breeze.
The bridal gown, supplied by Gatehouse Brides of Worcester, was by Madi Lane – chosen for its floaty chiffon fabric, long train and delicate sleeves. Jody Page of Country Wild designed a soft floral crown using roses, pink peppercorn berries, seeded eucalyptus and wax flower to complete the look, adding a touch of Lady of Shalott romance. Lowri and Anastasia worked closely to style the bride’s thick, wavy hair and soft, natural makeup.

The bouquet was rich in texture and fragrance, composed of garden roses, ranunculus, fragrant stocks, wax flower and statice, all bound with a blush pink silk ribbon. Its shape and scale were thoughtfully designed to complement both the bride and her gown.

The table styling was exquisite. Candice and Jody collaborated to create a dreamy tablescape using soft linens, romantic florals, vintage china and glassware. A sustainable, ‘foam-free’ floral arch created using only British-grown flowers and foliage from the gardens of Country Wild and Twyning Park, framed the space in the Long Room beautifully, catching the soft, natural shadows that fall into the room.
Emma from The Tipsy Peddler brought her signature vintage trike for the outdoor garden shots, an ever-popular feature at Twyning Park. Her mobile bar, complete with cocktails, ice cream and waffles, is a perfect touch for a summer country garden celebration.

The final images, captured as the sun began to set, show the bride afloat on the river in a vintage boat – an unforgettable moment to end a truly enchanting day.
