Rosie and Kiran were married in May at Pousada Palacio De Estoi in the Algarve, Portugal, gathering family and friends together for a destination wedding that combined black tie elegance with a relaxed, personal atmosphere across several days.
Both photographed and filmed beautifully by Matt and Lena, their wedding made the most of the palace’s faded pink architecture, grand staircases and warm spring light, with a design approach the couple describe as simple, elegant and never overly ‘weddingy’. Matt and Lena Photography captured the celebrations beautifully, and also created the film below.
Rosie wore a Mori Lee gown with a dramatic train and organza bows on the shoulder, alongside jewellery and wedding bands that carried deep family significance, including pieces belonging to her grandparents, whose wedding date was engraved inside the rings.

From vows officiated by their best friend to Kiran’s sister singing during the ceremony and their flower girl reciting ‘You Make Me Feel So Young’ by Frank Sinatra, a song Rosie’s grandfather used to sing to her, almost every part of the day included people, memories and family history that made this beautiful day so authentically meaningful and personal.
The couple planned much of the wedding themselves, choosing contemporary florals, bud vases and locally sourced flowers, whilst guests stayed together at the palace hotel overlooking the Algarve countryside.

The Venue & Location
Estoi Palace is a beautiful venue and we wanted a destination wedding over a few days with all our family and friends. It was relatively easy for people to get to, flying into Faro. Everyone stayed in the hotel over the wedding.
We mainly planned everything ourselves. The hotel handled everything on the day. We were supposed to have a dedicated coordinator on the day, but she fell ill and couldn’t make it. Everything still went ‘almost’ perfectly, except getting locked out of the venue, delaying me from walking down the aisle on time. It all turned out just like a perfect rom-com!

The Dress
Mori Lee
My dress was by Mori Lee. I wanted something timeless and simple, but with a touch of drama. The long train gave it elegance, while the organza bows added a modern twist.

I wore a veil by Richards Designs and my shoes were from ASOS. My perfume was Prada Milano. My makeup artist was Cor de Canala.

I wore my grandmother’s ring and earrings. My wedding band was also hers, engraved with the date 11.03.50. Their wedding day.
My bridesmaids wore Nobodys Child and Kiran’s suit was Hawes & Curtis. He also wore his Grandfather’s vintage Hamilton watch.

Photography
We found Matt and Lena while searching for photographers in Portugal. I instantly loved the feeling I got looking through their wedding stories. Natural, fun and beautiful, just how we wanted our day captured. We would highly recommend them.
Matt and Lena also filmed our highlight moments, our own little rom com!
