Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we take commissions for weddings across the UK, Europe and further afield. We have a love for travel and are always excited to explore new locations, having already been lucky enough to work across the globe from New York to Mumbai and so many places in between. If you’re interested in booking us for a destination wedding we’d love to hear from you and find out more about your plans.
How would you describe your style of wedding photography?
While it always feels impossible to pin ourselves down, we’d describe our style as documentary focused with an editorial edge. Our years working at major fashion events taught us to capture beautiful frames in high energy environments, always with an eye for detail. The following years capturing weddings taught us the importance of personal connection and an appreciation for creating images for our couples that have our signature editorial edge but still truly represent them. It always feels difficult to describe our style because really taking the photos is only half of the picture, making our couples and their guests feel comfortable in front of the camera is always our primary focus and that is what allows us to capture the beautiful, natural memories that follow.
How would you describe your editing style?
We’ve always wanted our images to have a timeless feel, with a nod to current trends but with tones that would stand up in years to come. Our colour images have rich tones but remain subtly muted, a lower saturation and contrast that offers a refined image with no one colour stealing focus from the rest of the frame. Our black & white images feel crisp, with deep blacks and strong tones giving a classic feel of film stocks like Ilford HP.
Can we meet with you before the wedding day?
Of course! Whenever possible we always like to meet our couples in person before their wedding day, our goal is to capture beautiful, natural memories from your day and getting to know each other before hand always makes it a much more comfortable experience. If you live abroad or availability is an issue we are always happy to hop on a video call as an alternative.
Do you only photograph weddings?
Around three quarters of our calendar is set aside for weddings and private events, the rest of the year we photograph new collections and campaigns for bridalwear and jewellery designers as well as larger commercial projects in the hospitality industry. Some of our prominent clients have included Kate Halfpenny and Freya Rose London, with our recent campaign work featuring in Vogue US, Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler.
