Sarah and Adam’s early spring wedding took place on a bright March day at the Sainsbury’s Centre in Norwich – a striking modern architecture, light-filled venue with clean, modern aesthetics.
The couple planned their day with intention and a strong creative vision, prioritising timelessness and meaning in every choice they made. From Sarah’s custom Shindig Threads dress to the olive green bridesmaid gowns and gentle floral styling, each detail was designed to stand the test of time.
Photographer Kingsley Ohuka of CR8 Moments London captured the atmosphere beautifully, blending filmic romance with clean modernity. His distinctive style and natural direction brought the couple’s vision to life – both in stills and on film. Enjoy!

We did most of the planning and work behind the scenes ourselves. It definitely pushed us to our limits and was stressful. We had a specific vision for how we wanted everything to be and ran with it and day did turn out perfectly so we don’t regret taking everything on ourselves as it allowed us to fine tune every aspect!

The Dress
Shindig Threads
I had an online consultation with Shindig Threads and sent in my measurements to my seamstress. She was extremely helpful, and I had an amazing experience.

Yes I would recommend, but if doing it online as I did you have to do your research, check reviews and make sure your seamstress will actually be reachable and have a video consultation with you to minimise the chance of any issues.

I had the style of dress in mind for a long time and this influenced to have it custom made. I loved the extra long veil, although it was a full time job for one of my bridesmaids to keep it under control.

I wore a Blusher veil that was 300cm in length.
My perfume was Chloe eau de perfum Intense – I went wedding day scent shopping and it stood out to me.
I did my make up myself and my friend Naomi helped me with my hair.

My bridesmaids dresses came from Club L London, TU Clothing, Pretty Lavish (via Vinted) and ASOS.
My dad walked me down the aisle, preceded by my bridesmaids. The song I walked down the aisle to was Worthy of it all, by David Brymer.

Our pastor from the church we both attended officiated our wedding. We briefly spoke about our faith journey and what Jesus has done in our lives before our vows.
Our rings were from Zelley Jewellers in Norwich. My ring was custom made due to the unique shape I wanted. This was perfectly made in house at F.J Zelley and hallmarked in a short period of time. Adam’s ring was bought from F.J. Zelley also, it was an antique ring.
Our photographer was Kingsley Ohuka of CR8 Moments London. We chose Kinglsey because of his unique and distinctive style which perfectly matched what we wanted. He was also able to do videography as well as photography.

On the day, Kingsley was brilliant in leading the photoshoot. He was able to create beautiful moments for our personal photos and the quality of his output speaks for itself. We had around 130 guests at the reception, which can be a challenge but he was great in organising and capturing photos with such a large group.

We both attend the same church and met there! We got engaged after nine months of dating, Adam proposed while we were traveling back from a trip visiting my family and we got married nine months later (we’re not making this up or obsessed with the number 9, that’s just the way it all happened. Adam wore a double breasted suit and shirt form Hawes and Curtis.

The Reception
For the reception, we decided to focus on the natural beauty of the venue and decorated the tables with custom welcome cards, wedding flowers, sage green napkins and in the evening we had battery operated candles placed one each table. The candles and sage green napkins were ordered from Aliexpress.
Our wedding favours consisted of a craft box filled with ‘his and hers’ sweets ( a combination of both of our favourite sweets) and an envelope with a wedding fridge magnet. We bought the sweets in bulk from wholesalers and bought the magnets from BergamotFavors on Etsy and the boxes from Ali express.

We hired a flower wall stationed at our church for photos after the church service. This was from The Backdrop Boutique.
The Modern Life Cafe at Sainsbury’s Centre provided our catering.
We had a custom large, round vanilla with buttercream frosting and strawberry topped wedding cake. Strawberries are such a delicious fruit and we got lucky as our wedding was just in time for the beginning of the strawberry season so the fruits on top were even more delicious. Our cake was made by Dinkys and we still have people raving about it till this day. It tasted amazing!
Evening & Dancing
Our first dance was to Jacob Banks’ ‘Lover’ (Ōlowó ōrí mI).
When it came to stationery, I designed everything on Canva and we distributed all details to everyone over text and had table cards to help with seating arrangements.
We hired 8 VK918 IP65 lights from Viking Stage Lighting which we used to provide some ambience in the evening.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
Just remember it’s your special day, do whatever you both want to do and what aligns with your values.
Also during the busy planning process, don’t forget to spend quality time with each other and not let every conversation be about planning.
We forgot to delegate the packing up of some of the décor and other pack up jobs both at the church and reception so we did lose some things of sentimental value but nothing that spoilt the day.
